It's raining cats and dogs outside...
...but inside we have a beautiful and blossoming palette of fresh bold greens, tangerines, lilacs, some nautical navy and calming neutrals...
At last the Summer collections are arriving daily, with their wonderful new colour schemes, fabrics and prints, a welcome change from the darker winter clothes.
As with every season we have a few new labels to tempt you with. One such label is the Dutch design company The Barn.
The Barn is completely new to the UK and we have their Summer 2007 collection available both in Chancery Lane and a limited selection online. Located in the cool east side of The Netherlands, their relaxed style shines through their collection of natural fabrics and tasteful colours. Their scoop neck soft cotton (100%) cardigan is shown here in a soft leprechaun green melange.
Oska linen has landed!
As only the organised German design company OSKA manages to do every year, we have a good linen story at the end of February in some fabulous new colours.
Whilst we continue to wait for many of our French and Italian summer clothes, the Germans have delivered great cotton/hemp dresses, timeless linen trousers and jackets, super little sleeveless wraps...all ready for those lucky enough to be planning an escape at Easter, or indeed for the rest of us once this awful rain has passed.
The hugely successful hemp cotton dress of last summer has reappeared in a different shape, equally popular and shown here on your right in nautical navy with a FANTASTIC cotton jacket from Day Birger & Mikkelsen, another new name for us from Denmark.
Watch this space for more from this well known and great Danish fashion company.
